MYLK + KO is my first café in Brisbane and will be opening in February 2017. This is my enterprise (aka baby) and something I've been working towards for the past two years.


I have always loved pastry and wanted to become a pastry chef at the age of 15. I decided to go to lawschool instead and make my education worthwhile but here I am, 10 years later, and back to square one (more or less). Through @wholesome_ines I practiced turning 'regular' recipes into their 'wholesome' versions without sacrificing taste and instead making the recipes more nutritious.

MYLK + KO is a wholefood based eatery + juicery specialising in refined sugar free treats and desserts. We will aim to accommodate for dietary requirements and many of our products will be gluten free, dairy free, soy free and vegan (and of course refined sugar free). We believe that no one should miss out on the foods they love due to their dietary requirements or choices. We are also passionate about nourishing our bodies whilst enjoying delicious food.

I want MYLK + KO to be a wholefood 'hub' where you can get your fix of everything from super shakes to fresh juices, acai bowls, baked and raw treats as well as waffles and savoury pancakes... My aim is to make most things fresh in house such as the granola, raw treats etc...
